This video is the culmination of aproximately 8 months of procrastination, hundreds of lines of bullet point scripting, and several days of filming and editing.
This video was my attempt to give a full 360° in-depth view into Personal Knowledge Management, Zettelkasten, Everygreen Notes, and Obsidian.
I covered a lot in my prior video:
MY 2020 COMPREHENSIVE OBSIDIAN WORKFLOW FOR ZETTELKASTEN AND EVERGREEN NOTES
Such as how I processed and dealt with inputs of a variety of types:
- Articles
- Research Papers
- Youtube videos
- Podcasts
- Books
- etc.
I also details how i use many of the apps that help me process and manage all of these inputs and the notes i make from them such as:
But this video was something completely different. In this video i covered absolutely everything in intimate detail. 4x the length of the first iteration.
I covered the theory, terms, and concepts used in the Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) space, how i used obsidian, what plugins i use and how i use them. And just making a one stop shop for all things PKM because i figure that this type of information i've gathered from all over should be free.
From what i hear many people have gained a lot of value from the video and have had the concepts and workflows add value to their work and lives and that is such a wonderful thing to hear.
With this video i hoped to provide a robust box of tools that would help someone enter the PKM space with a little more confidence.
And if you ever needed that 1:1 assistance, I offer consulting so we can help you get setup and get right no track :).
This video coveres a whole lot more of the PKM sphere and what i do within it such as:
- Meta
- What a PKM system is
- Defining your end goal
- The domains of a PKM system
- Quick Capture
- Status tracking
- Search / Filter
- Association Traversal
- Structural Rigidity
- Temporal Components
- Input Types
- Curation
- Automation
- Smart Lens
- What is in MY PKM system
- My Goals
- My Workflows
- The apps i use
- Todoist
- Textsniper
- memex
- highlights
- Zotero
- Raindrop.io
- Airr

- How i search, filter, and traverse my notes
- How i process literature notes
- Theory & Definitions
- Evergreen Notes
- Maps of content
- API Note titles

And so so so much more. It's a behemoth of a video but i made it in the hopes that it would be of value to you :)
Keep on thinkin :)
